Where do I upload my images?  I used Imageshack in the past because I liked the work of development that they did.  Now I'm using IMGSRC(http://www.imgsrc.com/) because of its performance.

I used to like Imageshack because, as a developer, I thought their programming was pretty interesting.  They were able to integrate a lot of different technologies into the website, but most notably is their ability to produce good Ajax coding.  However, the cost of showing off is taking a big hit in the performance category.  Extra programming means extra overhead which makes the website run slower.  And really....... how many of those features do we really need?  All most of us want to do is upload our pictures, and then immediately use them wherever we intended.  Speaking of which, I haven't found a faster site to upload my images on then what IMGSRC allows me to do.  IMGSRC is up to 10x faster then upload my imagesany other image upload site that I've used.  It's incredibly simple too.  You can upload a photo anonymously, and be using it all in 2 seconds flat.  That's how quick it is.  You don't even have to register with the website.  However, if you want to build a gallery you'll want to setup an account.  Accounts are free, and quick to setup.  It only takes about 10 seconds.  Then you got a place to store all of your images all in one spot.  Very simple.  Go to imageshack and watch how slow it is, and then find out how many bugs it has.  It can be pretty frustrating and annoying.  Thank god for a simple website(IMGSRC) that is meant for a simple task.  I know the developers that just began building IMGSRC about a month ago.  I've worked with them on other projects, and they're the most experienced crew that I know.  They're putting this site together with a good development architecture geared around efficiency and performance.  I upload my images on that site every day, and everything has been working perfectly so far.  It makes you happy to see it.  I strongly recommend that you check out IMGSRC now if you haven't already.  It's probably going to be the next big thing sooner or later.  I remember back in the day when I was using Google before it became the enterprise that it is today.  I appreciate smart programming, and smart programmers.

I've used other websites to upload my images such as Photobucket, and Flickr too.  They've been around a little bit too long.  They run faster then Imageshack, but not a whole lot more.  For hosting images they work well for developing a gallery.  You can organize your photos really well.  People can comment on your images.  There is a kind of social community that they've been able to develop over time.  I don't really like Flickr because I hate Yahoo.  Flickr is developed by Yahoo in case you didn't know.   I'm not a photographer, and I'm not an artsy fartsy type of person.  All I want to do is upload the images that I make online fast and efficiently.  I don't want to stick around at a website any longer then I have to.  A lot of these bigger websites try to cram their advertising down your throats, and make their sites almost impossible to navigate.  I hate that.

Also if you're a web developer, like I am, you'll really love IMGSRC.  It provides you with an excellent place to store your images online if  you don't want to upload your websites to your web server directory.  It's EXTREMELY fast to use, and I hear that they're going to be adding a major bulk image upload feature very soon.  This website is just going to explode in no time.  I know a lot of people that are beginning to use it already.  There really isn't any better options online as hard as it is to believe.  None of the bigger websites offer the performance and efficiency that you get with IMGSRC.  It reminds me of the comparison between Google, and Yahoo.  Many people probably already know what I'm talking about.  Google is built to be simple, and efficient.  Yahoo is built as an insane marketing page that loads slow as hell.  Google is obviously far superior in popularity, and that is exactly why.  Nobody is interested in the politics that Yahoo tries to cram down your throat.
